New York, NY - June 2, 2010: ICONOS, the latest production by megastar Marc Anthony for Sony Latin, was an instant international success upon its May 25 release.

Already at the (Latin) platinum sales level, it hit the # 1 spot in sales in Billboard's Top Latino Album and Latino-Pop album slots, and it also premiered this week in the #11 spot on the Billboard Top 200 albums. The album's single, "Y Cómo Es El," remains at #1 in iTunes for Mexico and Spain.

ICONOS (Icons) is a collection of eight songs originally sung by iconic singers that Marc Anthony admires, including José Luis Perales, Juan Gabriel, Roberto Carlos and José José. ICONOS also includes two new songs composed by Marc Anthony and Julio Reyes.

Marc Anthony has sold over 11 million albums worldwide. He is one of the most influential artists active today, and is an ambassador of music and of Latin culture. Winner of five Grammys, he has received gold and platinum certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Moreover, he has received a total of 18 "Premios Lo Nuestro," a record for this prize and New York magazine named him one of the "Top 10 Most Influential New Yorkers."

In summer 2009 Marc Anthony became a minority owner of the Miami Dolphins and in September 2009 he received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute in Washington D.C.
